Half-Hull Boat Window Box Planter Featured on TV Show
Fort Lauderdale, FL February 5, 2004-–Carol Parrott International's Half-Hull Boat Window Box Planter was a featured nautical accessory last month on the Home and Garden Channel. The Curb Appeal episode that aired on January 7, and 8, 2004 on HGTV showed an exterior remodeling of a houseboat and used the planter to add to the nautical theme. They also added an arbor with plants, a hammock, repainted with tropical colors, and installed a new front door with a window sandblasted with a fish etching.
The Half-Hull Boat Planter featured in the episode is an original design of the Ft. Lauderdale, Florida based company. They have two other boat designs, a smaller planter and a wall-mounted mailbox. Their products are made of hand-laid white gelcoated fiberglass and can be personalized with a name and hailing port, just like real boats.
